Terms and Conditions of Service
Please read carefully before using our services
The summarized terms and conditions set out herein below shall apply to the services provided by SBNHS. By subscribing to these services, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.
Definitions
- "Service" means the healthcare provided by Star bedside nursing and home care services Ltd.
- SBNHS stands for Star bedside nursing & home care services Ltd.
- Billing amount: The fees or charges to be paid by the client for the service offered by SBNHS.
- Billing frequency: This is the periods at which one account is billed at a time for the service.
- Service provider: This is the person providing healthcare service for the company (SBNHS).
- "Client" means the person or persons to whom the Agreement is issued and who has a valid power and authority to represent the patient.
Provision of Service
- The Service Provider agrees to provide the Services to the Client.
- Subject to the terms and conditions of the contract, SBNHS will provide healthcare services and endeavor to make these services available to the patient throughout the term of this contract.
- SBNHS reserves the right to change the terms and conditions upon which the services are offered.
- The Services does not include anything over and above as mentioned above.
- At any point of time the Service Health Provider will provide Services to only the patient mentioned in the agreement or service order form above.
- At any point of time the Home Health Provider will provide Services to only the patient mentioned in the agreement or service order form above.
- The Client agrees that any request for change of service Health Provider may result in disruption in the Service.
Client Obligation
- The Client agrees to provide truthfully the details of medical history and agrees to make necessary disclosures of any illness or disease.
- The Client shall ensure that all times during the term of this Agreement, the Client/Member shall not misbehave with the Service Health Provider.
- It shall be the sole responsibility of the Client to make all suitable travel arrangements for the patient attending social events/outings organized by the Service Provider.
- The Client shall not offer employment to the Service Health Provider during the term of this Agreement and for a period of one year thereafter.
Service Fee
- The Client hereby agrees to pay to SBNHS in consideration of the Services:
- An Ongoing Service Fee per the period/duration stated above and An Upfront Non-Refundable Service Fee.
- The Ongoing Service Fee shall be payable in advance for a period of every period/duration.
- For certain care packages, an Emergency Deposit is required for incidental costs that may be incurred during the course of the contract (e.g., Ambulance Facilitation Services; Hospitalization Help Service among others).
Term and Termination
- This Agreement shall commence on the start and end dates specified on the overleaf form above. The Agreement can be renewed by the Parties in writing any time before the expiry of the term. Any non-payment of the ongoing registration fee, upfront service fee or any other fee or reimbursements will cause this agreement to be terminated from the date of last Payment.
- The Agreement may be terminated by either party without assigning any reason by giving 30 days written notice to the other party.
Confidentiality, Freedom of Information
- Subject to this agreement, the Service Provider shall not without the Client's consent disclose to any person other than the Client or use otherwise other than for the purpose of carrying out the Services any Confidential Information on/after the date of the Agreement concerning the Services available by the Client provided that the information is not already in public domain.
- The Service Provider will process such personal data only in accordance with this Agreement and the Client's reasonable instructions and will take steps to ensure the reliability.
Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranty
- The Service Provider shall not be liable for any damage whatsoever and in particular the Service Provider shall not be liable for any special, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, or hurt caused to the Member, or loss of use, arising out of or related to the Service or otherwise, even if the Service Provider has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
- The Service Provider makes no warranty that (i) The Service will meet the requirements of the Client and/or the Member, (ii) The Service will be uninterrupted and timely (iii) The results that may be obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate or reliable. No guarantees have been made regarding the outcome of the care and under no circumstance can the Service Provider be held responsible for the same.
- Under no circumstances will the Service Provider have any liability for action, incompetence or other failure by a third party.
Our Relationship with Other Health Professionals
- Star bedside nursing and homecare services Ltd (SBNHS) understands the importance of working as partners with Health & Social Care Professionals.
- Providing high quality care requires teamwork and planning, we liaise with all those that have a professional or personal interest and have been permitted by the individual receiving care to be involved. When we are in hospitals as caretakers on behalf of our clients, we do not interfere with the hospital treatment procedures and staff, however we work as a team for the health of our patient.
Important Notice
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between SBNHS and the client. Any changes must be in writing and signed by both parties.

By subscribing to our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
